CIRCULAR
Dear Presidents, PRDs, ASDs & RSDs,
The following matters are brought to your notice for favor of information and urgent necessary action.
1. Payment of Dues: The International Secretary General has informed that the final deadline to receive dues payment for the 2nd semester is 15th March 2012. So the Clubs are requested to pay the dues on or before 14th March if you have not yet paid.
2. Contribution to International projects : It is also requested to contribute to the International programmes like Paul William Alexander Fellow- US $ 120 (Rs. 5280/-), Roll Back Maleria - Rs. 380/- per Net , TOF- Rs. 100/- per coupon, etc
3.Results of 2010-11 Election 01-March 2012
* Mr. Poul Thomasen of Denmark has been elected as International President Elect.
*Mr.Erik BREUM of Denmark as International Treasurer (2012-15)
*Mr. Jose Alphonse & Mr. A.T.George of Mid West India Region as International Council Members from India Area ( 2012-15)
* Ms. Roxy Galindo of Canada has been appointed as the Youth Intern for 2012-13
4. Regional Election: The Regional Election for 2011-12 will be held from 10 AM to 1 PM on
13th May 2012 at Rotary Community Centre, Beach, Kollam. Clubs which have not furnished the Second Sem Roster ( Membership List) and which have not paid the Dues are not eligible to vote in the Election.
The Registration fee for Clubs will be Rs. 200/- and convention fee will be Rs. 800/- per delegate which is compulsory for voting delegates. Delegates can participate in election as well as convention with the same registration and there is no separate registration .
5. Regional Convention: Annual convention is scheduled to be held from 9.30 AM to 8.30 PM on 10th June 2012 at Hotel Beach, Beach, Kollam.
6. Silver Jubilee Celebrations: will be held along with the Regional Convention.
7 Honouring Silver Jubilee Celebrated Members: Region intends to Honour the senior leaders who have completed 25 years of Service in Ysdom. Clubs chartered before 6/1987 are requested to furnish the details of such leaders for inviting them to the Regional Convention.
